Simple Reuben Sandwiches is a classic and for good reason, corned beef, Swiss, sauerkraut, and dressing and always on rye bread that's grilled to perfection, and the original sandwich is said to have been created back in the early 1900s!

You can either start from scratch and make them from a slow-cooked corned beef roast or use a thinly sliced deli corn beef which is great in a pinch.

We love this sandwich all year long and especially after we have slow-cooked our Corned Beef in Guinness Beer, which truly makes the best tasting Reuben sandwiches.

  19. This sandwich looks awesome. Of course any sandwich with melted cheese oozing out of it looks awesome. Both of my parents are German and I have never had sauerkraut. I might have to try this while they still have brisket with the corned beef seasoning still in the store.
