Crockpot Cheesy Broccoli Chicken

If you don't have a crockpot your missing out, do you like cheese and broccoli? Are you a always in a hurry and want a great meal to come home to that easy? This is for you.

This is so easy! I took a can of broccoli and cheddar soup. A package of eight chicken thighs, 1/2 can of water and viola! This is what we got.... fast, easy, over some steamed white rice.

1 can broccoli cheddar soup
1/2 can water
1 cup steamed rice cooked separate
6 to 8 chicken thighs or breasts bone in or bone less

In a 5 quart crockpot, add chicken into a lightly oil sprayed crock. Add chicken.
Pour broccoli cheddar soup of the chicken, add water. Put on low in the morning and around 8 hours later, perfect tender cheesy chicken and broccoli.
If you want more broccoli, add a package of frozen chopped broccoli to this.
Boil 1 cup of rice separately. Place rice on a plate, chicken and cheesy sauce over the chicken and rice. Enjoy~

  14. I do something similar with canned tuna. I mix it with cream of mushroom soup and canned peas, throw it in a pot and heat it all through. This sounds delicious!

  19. Time to get the old crockpot out that seems to have lasted forever. I used to make a lot of creme soup dishes in the crockpot.
This looks yummy and comforting. The best part is that it's no fuss...no mess, and the aroma is all throughout your house when you get home from a long day at work!

  20. Quick and easy, my kind of meal. I'm bookmarking this one, thanks. I remember, and I bet you do too, when the boys were all home. Dinner was omg chaos because they were always starving. That altered my cooking style big time. Even today, after the chaos is over, I prepare things quickly.

  22. I'm with you - I think the crock pot is the most underrated kitchen tool there is! I relied on mine for so many years while I was working and I still use it - especially for chili and comfort foods like your delicious chicken and broccoli :)
