Mexican Cornmeal Baked Chicken Wings With Pace Picante Salsa

Coating for wings:

2 1/2 pounds chicken wings
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
3/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

 In a resealable plastic bag, combine the ingredients. Add chicken wings, a few at a time, and shake to coat.

Place in a single layer on two greased cookie sheet style baking pans. Bake at 350° until the wings are crispy or on the grill  if you live in an area you can grill all year.

Salsa sauce:
1 jar Mild Pace Picante Salsa
2 to 3 tablespoons minced cilantro
1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons lime juice
salt and pepper

Take 1/2 cup of pace picante salsa add lime juice. Serve with chicken wings, pour sauce directly over wings, or use as a dip,  garnish with cilantro.

  2. yup, great choice... I think you and Curt are the Wing Kings... love that coating on the chicken and like how you added to the picante - got mine yesterday but have yet to do anything with it...guess it won't be wings, huh...
