Irish Creme Holiday Balls

Friday, December 9, 2011
These Irish Creme Holiday Balls are no bake made with vanilla wafers, Irish cream, and just 4 other simple easy-to-find ingredients.

Although I do make my own Copycat Irish Cream, you can use any flavored liquor with my several suggestions below.

For gift-giving, store them in pretty festive tins, but they should only be left out for up to 3 days unrefrigerated, these will stay fresh for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator so be sure to store them properly.

Just scroll down for these easy printable instructions.

Step By Step Irish Creme Holiday Balls

  1. crush the vanilla wafers
  2. mix in all the ingredients
  3. roll into balls
  4. chill one hour
  5. roll into powdered sugar
One other tip, use any liquor you like Amaretto, Frangelico, Kahlua, Butterscotch Schnapps, Whiskey, or Vodka, the skies are the limit on possibilities to change the flavor

Ingredient Suggestions

  1. unsweetened chocolate powder
  2. powdered sugar
  3. vanilla wafers crushed
  4. light corn syrup
  5. Irish cream (or non-alcohol spirit liquor) see suggestions for extract substitutions below
  6. Optional: sprinkles, crushed candy canes, colored sugars, assorted nuts, powdered sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, crushed cookies crumbs, coconut, chopped dried fruits

Other Flavor Suggestions Non-Alcohol Substitutions

  • non-alcohol spirits

  14. I love the cats! I have two at my house almost just like that. Frisco and Amelie. I don't think I could get them to put hats on though. I don't have Irish Cream, but I have Bailey's. I wonder if this would work well with that?
