Mom made the simplest dessert, always from scratch. This is one we made often come fall, we always had an abundance of New York State apples for Twin Orchards in New Hartford N.Y. She made the best pies, cakes and dessert with those. Fond memories, hope you enjoy her recipe~! We never really had a name for this one. Can you name it? Maybe you remember a recipe like this one growing up.

Similar to apple cobbler. The caramel and whipped cream topping must take it over the top in deliciousness. Your Mom knew what tasted good. My eldest son loves apple anything but is not really a dessert fan when it comes to anything else. Geesh, he doesn't even like chocolate that much. LOL
ReplyDeleteThis looks extremely good! Great job!
