Pepperoni Pockets with Potato Dough Recipe

This dough is a long time favorite in our family. Estimating around 120 years ago old age recipe.  It never ages, just gets better. We just love the taste, density and versatility of this one. Here is another reason to try it these pepperoni rolls are terrific!

1 recipe Potato Herb Dough Click here
(or use regular pizza dough store bought)

sliced pepperoni
whole milk mozzarella cheese in a ball
1 egg beaten mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
garlic powder
grating cheese

Follow recipe instructions for herb dough. Roll dough out into small square pieces. Place a round 1/2 inch slice of mozzarella on the dough to fit. Top with pepperoni. Sprinkle with garlic powder and grating cheese. Roll up. Seam side down place on a greased pizza pan. Rise for 30 minutes. Brush tops with egg wash.  Bake on 400 degrees until browned around 40 minutes.
