Roasted Chicken Freezer Marinade Recipe

Saturday, April 20, 2013
I love buying whole chickens when on sale and making these this Roasted Chicken Freezer Marinade Recipe, it's perfectly flavored in the freezer bags until when ready to cook the chicken anytime, just thaw in the fridge, and you will have chicken cooked perfection in this tasty bird.

The marinade is made with garlic, olive oil, lemon juice with added fresh herbs, and some seasoning that makes the chicken mouth-watering tender, and delicious.

The best part about making your own marinade ahead of time and freezing it, the chicken is flavored and perfectly seasoned already and tastes great the first time it's cooked and leftovers are fantastic for using in so many other recipes

If you happen to have any leftovers they make a perfect topping for a salad or in a chicken wrap o toss in the chicken with pasta.

Serve them with your favorite Side Dishes that can be easily made the night before you decide to serve your meal to make it easier.

This chicken freezer marinade is even perfect to make way ahead of the holidays for a the ease of preparation before a busy season during Thanksgiving or Christmas and will work perfectly with cut-up small turkey parts also.

Once in a while, I just love eating roasted vegetables as a whole meal at lunchtime.

These roasted vegetables are easy to prepare, and even leftovers are perfect to use in scrambled eggs or in a baked quiche.

The best part about roasted vegetables is you can make any kind of vegetables they like and seasoning flavors you and your family like.

During the summer we just love all fresh farmers' market produce, we suggest never using mushy canned styled vegetables that are full of salt and frozen cook faster and shouldn't be on the same tray as fresh so they all cook uniformly.

Crockpot Baked Potatoes Two Ways and Suggestions Recipes

Sunday, April 7, 2013

Who knew that the crockpot could have so many ways to make the working world or just busy folks make dinner without knowing how to cook? You can make a whole meal out of a potato with leftovers or just your favorite toppings from a jar or can! Oh by the way if you have hungry kids after school, this is a no brainer for them to come home they just will have to add cheese on top!

Follow these simple instructions for the best results.

10 to 12 washed Fresh Potatoes (I like to use red, white or yellow potatoes)
Foil
Salt and Pepper
Optional: Softened Butter

Wash the potatoes, place on foil, prick with a fork, add salt and pepper you can spread with softened butter if you like. Fill the crockpot with potatoes on low (dry no liquid) Check using a fork after 8 hours from that long hard day making sure they are soft. Take out cut up and fluff with a fork in the middles. Try some of my topping suggestions.  Besides what is suggested you can always use leftover chili, stews or canned corned beef hash add some shredded cheese for melting and your meal is complete.

Now here are a few more quick meal topping suggestions:

Greek Style Potato: Feta cheese crumbles, olives, Greek dressing, shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes.

Philly Style Potato: Steak slices cooked topped with provolone, sauteed peppers, onions and mushrooms.

Italian Guys Style Potato: Crushed meatballs in sauce add shredded mozzarella on top.

Pizza Style Potato: Pepperoni, mozzarella. (If you like sausage, mushrooms, peppers etc. have at it!)

Well I think you all get the idea!  Have fun creating your own toppings!

Till the next time this is +claudia lamascolo  Author  have a great day!
