If you want to see the family eat leftovers quickly, here is the perfect recipe for them.

This pot pie is so easy the kids can help make it.

You can even buy all the ingredients and assemble before leaving the house and just pop it in the oven when you get home.

I have to warn you though, make two it's that good!

Are you in a hurry and need an easy meal?

Seriously, this is the quickest and easiest pot pie you will ever make.

Whenever I am in a hurry and also need to get rid of leftovers, here is my solution, pot pies.

I always have refrigerated pie crusts or even frozen pie shells in the freezer.

Some of the ingredients you can change up with no problem especially meats.

I have used leftover boneless pork, chicken and even steak to make these easy casserole pot pies!

Easiest Meal Ever!

I just love how the crust bakes in into a flaky pastry filled all in one meal.

You can use any kind of gravy also, chicken, turkey, beef, I keep jars on hand.

Even though this is semi homemade, it sure is a family favorite.

Everyone loves this pot pie when I make it and they don't have to know it's not from scratch.

If you want to make your own pie crust try my beef pot pie recipe.

This is an easy pot pie made with leftover and premade ingredients

ingredients:

2 cups leftover chicken or turkey
2 cups of mixed frozen vegetables
1 12 ounces jar chicken or turkey gravy
1 box refrigerated store-bought pie crust

instructions:

Place one pie crust into an oil sprayed casserole dish ( I used a 9x9 square).
In a bowl mix together the chicken, vegetables, and gravy.
Pour on top of the pie crust into the casserole dish. Top with the last crust, Use a fork to crimp edges.
I like to brush the top of the crust with butter before baking.  Poke a few holes on the top. Bake in preheated oven of 400 degrees until the top is browned, around 25 minutes.
