Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispie Treats

Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispie Treats are a perfect combination of flavors for chocolate peanut butter lovers with a nice little crunch.

The bars are super fast to make with just a few ingredients and a different version of that popular Rice Krispie bar everyone loves with melted marshmallows.

For Halloween, I make a  round 6-inch spring form pan-round filled with Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispies. This gets frosted with white icing and then piped with the face of Jack Skellington (from The Nightmare Before Christmas) it is a fun creation for the kids. Photo below.

Cereal treats are a fun dessert that can even be made into different shapes and are perfect for a character pan and birthday party.

When the kids were little I would pour them into little molds of their favorite shapes like trains or baked cereal balls even for Halloween.

Just get a little creative and when you're in a hurry, this may be your favorite recipe for quick fun treats for the kids and young at heart.

Rice Krispie treats are certainly a popular well-known dessert for any age.
Crispy rice cereal, marshmallows, butter, and with the addition of peanut butter and chocolate flavors, these are a delicious gourmet version of that worldwide favorite bar!

Fun Chocolate Peanut Butter Cereal Treats

Marshmallow cereal treats are such a fun easy-to-make dessert and with the addition of chocolate Krispies and peanut butter, it's a whole new experience of taste in these little bars.

This isn't a new recipe, Mom made these back in the 1970s when I was a little, and I remember she added a bit more peanut butter to her recipe and they stayed a little softer.

I really like the ease of these, plus they can be made in less than a half hour and are the perfect take-along for picnics, road trips, or even a backyard barbecue.
