Franks Hot Sauce to taste
1 baguette loaf of bread cut in thick slices
slices of extra sharp cheddar cheese (real cheese that melts easy)
blue cheese or ranch dressing (use lower fat one's to reduce calories)
Slice baguettes into 1 to 2 inch thick slices. Toast brushed with olive oil and a little garlic powder for around 10 minutes at 400 degree hot oven. Place a slice of leftover chicken on the bread, drizzle with hot sauce over the chicken, add around a teaspoon of dressing of choice then put a large slice of cheese to cover the entire top of the bread. Place on a cookie sheet and back into the hot oven at 400 degrees until cheese melts.
Other variations: for a Southwest style crostini: add some chopped celery on top of the chicken, black sliced olives, black beans, chopped chili peppers, omit hot sauce and use taco sauce, proceed with cheese over the top adding a dollap of sour cream on top instead of dressing after cheese is melted.
