
Butter Maple Pecan Bread Recipe

1 3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sour cream
1 stick butter = (1/2 cup)
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon salt
optional: 1 cup coconut, chocolate chips or raisins
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a large loaf pan. Place all dry ingredients in one bowl blending together. Mix in another bowl sour cream, eggs, syrup and butter beat till well combined. Add the dry ingredients along with nuts and any of the optional ingredients, stir until blended. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 for at least an hour or until the center is clean with a toothpick when inserted. Flip onto a wire rack, cool.
