Open Faced Pita Meat Lovers Pizza Recipe

Sometimes a quick fix does the trick if you are looking to stop a craving for pizza! This pita pizza is really an open faced sausage and meatball sandwich. Quick, delicious and you can do this in a toaster oven in minutes! Of course you can top this with anything you like or have on hand. I was going for meat lovers today!

Note: You can use all store bought or make it yourself homemade the links are highlighted for the recipes.

Pita bread
Sausage links from leftover Sunday Sauce
Meatballs crushed from leftover Sunday Sauce
Mozzarella sliced or shredded
Parmesan Cheese
Sauce of course you can use store bought or homemade Sunday Sauce
Olive Oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
On an oil sprayed piece of aluminum foil, place the pita on it.
Toast in the oven around 10 minutes.
Take it out add the sauce with meat on top. Slices of mozzarella, sprinkle with parmesan cheese then drizzle with olive oil.
Bake until the cheese is browned on top and melted evenly around 10 to 15 minutes.
