Red Beans and Rice Recipe My Way

Thursday, August 20, 2020
No, I am not an expert on Red Beans and Rice in the South or how to make the amazing wonderful Latin recipes.

I am an expert on spicing up red beans and rice instantly in this easy Italian style recipe version!

This is something easy to make come out perfect and a great side for meat meals.

I have seen the prepackaged ones in the store and seriously, to me they're tasteless.

I like to make beans in a slow cooker overnight, then have them in the refrigerator during the week, make some fresh rice, and viola, a great side dish for any meal in no time.

This is a tasty simple side dish you can doctor up or leave plain.

My family loves this without all the additives but you can adapt it to anything you're accustomed to.

I will give some suggestions below of additions that I like myself.

Great meals that go great with this side dish is our Slow-Cooked Smoked Beef Brisket, it's so delicious and juicy!

Quick Lasagna Recipe

Sunday, February 9, 2020
Making lasagna can be very time consuming but my quick method of making this classic Italian dish comes out great every time and in a pinch absolutely delicious.

It's great on the weeknights and my methods of using leftovers or store-bought will determine just how fast you can get this lasagna on your tables.

I have both a stovetop method of making this or in the oven.

Semi-homemade or if you make everything on your own, using some tricks here will save you lots of time and add a new favorite to the family menu!

This has surely become a family favorite when the kids were little and they still love it now.

I still make mom's from-scratch homemade lasagna recipe around the holiday, but this can be made in no time all week long!

Mom always had shortcut meals we loved like her Italian Goulash, Leftover Meat, Pasta and Beans Sausage with Pasta East End Style, and a favorite Mom's Ricotta Penne Pasta.

If you hate to cook, just follow this simple guideline and shortcuts of suggestions and let's get cooking!
