These delicious Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes can be the easiest side dish on your holiday or weeknight meals!

There are two methods I have to make these whipped creamy potatoes.

Garlic in mashed potatoes bring a wonderful addition of flavor to you spuds, with just a little will enhance them to a gourmet potato flavor.

These creamy potatoes are going to be your family's favorite way to enjoy them especially served with your favorite Mom's Homemade Gravy.

The potatoes have butter, milk and whipped cream cheese in them instead of just plain ole potatoes we've adapted these to a fluffy potato delight everyone always wants the recipe for.

Roasting garlic is super simple with these instructions and adds a robust perfect flavor to this side dish.

Mashed Potato Recipe

This recipe is just a guideline on how to make roasted garlic mashed potatoes.

Additions can be added, more or fewer ingredients.

Potato recipes are easy and adaptable on cooking methods explained below.

Double the number of potatoes according to family size this was based on a family of 4.

Start out with the small amounts of ingredients and garlic (too much garlic will overpower the taste of the potatoes, it's your preference).

Taste as you go, this is so important in cooking, if you don't taste your own food, you won't know more or less what to add.

My recommendation on potatoes is always using russet for the best results, but you can use whatever kind you like.

  6. This dish is a staple. Make it a few times a month. Sometimes I lighten it with chicken broth instead of milk - but that roasted garlic does make a potato come alive singing.
