Boozy Ball Cookie Recipe

Probably the most asked for cookie on the Christmas tray! Boozy Ball Cookies! A must make every year making several batches in different boozy flavors. Whether you like flavored rums, bourbon, hazelnut liquor, whatever kind you like you can make. We love Amaretto, Frangelico, Bourbon and Coconut Rum. Boozy Ball Cookie Recipe

1/2 cup bourbon, rum, or nut flavored liquor like Amaretto, Macadamia, Frangelico or (whatever kind of booze you like. These are Frangelico)
2 1/2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 box of vanilla wafers
3 tablespoons corn syrup or honey
2/3 cup chopped walnuts (if using Frangelico use hazelnuts, for Amaretto use almonds)
1 cup powered sugar (more for rolling these in)

Place all in the ingredients in a food processor except nuts. Add them last and pulse til coarsely chopped. Roll into balls and add powdered sugar into a large ziplock bag and shake gently till well coated. Store in refrigerator or freeze until ready to use the longer they sit and ferment the stronger they get!
