What better way to kick off summer than with a cocktail made with watermelon. It just shouts summer!
This Watermelon Limoncello Cocktail is great with or without alcohol.
All the fruits are fresh and bursting with a fresh ray of sunshine to cool you off on a hot summers day!
Fresh Fruit So Tropical Looking!
I just love to add a fresh fruit kabob to top of this delicious refreshing drink, it make this drink so tropical looking.
There are times in the winter, I sit back and make this refreshing drink so it sends me to a warm place in my mind.
Watermelon is so refreshing and it's low fat, low carb and making this it without the alcohol even healthy!
Take your pick of making this awesome drink either way. It's not only refreshing, it's delicious!

Great for serving guests or at parties.
I like to make this drink by making several at a time and put in a punch bowl with fruit on top for a party.
A great one for the 4th of July and any summer picnic party.
Just need to leave out the alcohol for the kids.

cocktail, limoncello, watermelon, alcohol, beverage

Watermelon Limoncello Cocktail
prep time: 5 minscook time: 15 minstotal time: 20 mins
ingredients:
6 cups seedless watermelon pulp
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup limoncello or lemonade
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup fruit ( suggestions strawberries, raspberries or blueberries)
assorted fruits to make kabobs, raspberries, strawberries, cubed watermelon
sprigs of mint
Optional
1 shot of Bacardi Rum to top it off
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup limoncello or lemonade
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup fruit ( suggestions strawberries, raspberries or blueberries)
assorted fruits to make kabobs, raspberries, strawberries, cubed watermelon
sprigs of mint
Optional
1 shot of Bacardi Rum to top it off
instructions:
Place water and sugar in a small saucepan and boil together until sugar dissolves. In the mean time place the melon, berries and limoncello in a blender and puree until fine. Put through a mess strainer into a small pitcher. Add the simple syrup. Place in the refrigerator for around an hour. Before serving add lots of ice, a shot of Bacardi rum to the top of the drink. Place a fruit kabob on top, garnish with mint and enjoy!

Oh my, I'm starting to feel a backache :) I've got limoncello in the freezer and watermelon in the fridge. I know the remedy that will make me better!
