What is so great about these pies is that everything is mixed together, magically makes its own crust, and bakes everything all together!

Impossible Savory Pies

Using a baking mix and a variety of ingredients you can make an all-in-one baked casserole savory pie with this basic recipe!
Ingredients
- Impossible Bacon Cheeseburger Pie:
- 3/4 baking mix
- 1 pound of ground beef cooked and drained
- 6 strips of crispy cooked bacon crumbled (or more if you like)
- 3 eggs
- 1 /1/2 cup of milk
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- salt, and pepper to taste
- Optional: 2 tablespoons diced onion or bell peppers,
- Garnish 2 sliced tomatoes for the top after baking, and condiments of any kind you prefer with a burger
- Alternative Impossible Pizza Pie: Add cooked sausage, mozzarella, and chopped pepperoni instead of beef and cheddar. Serve topped with more cheese and warmed marinara sauce.
- Impossible Taco Pie Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup baking mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups of milk
- 1 pound of ground beef cooked and drained
- 1 package of taco seasoning (I use only half the package you can use more if you like)
- 1 cup shredded Mexican blended cheese
- 1/4 cup of black beans, drained or pinto beans
- 4 ounces of green canned chilies, drained, or use minced bell pepper
- Optional: substitute beans for 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes or onions
- Garnish: Serve with sour cream, taco sauce, chopped green onion, sliced olives, and crushed tortilla chips
- Impossible Chicken Broccoli Pie:
- 1-1/2 cups cooked boneless chicken breast diced into cubes(rotisserie leftovers work great!)
- 1 -10-ounce package of frozen broccoli florets, chopped, rinsed, and patted dry with paper towels
- 1 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup baking mix
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning dried
- salt, and pepper to taste
- Optional: a pinch of cayenne pepper for heat
- Impossible Seafood Pie:
- 3 ounces of cream cheese, cut up into small pieces
- 1 cup, around 8 ounces of Crab meat or Shrimp (or a combination you can also use tuna 6 ounces drained)
- 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of chopped fresh baby spinach leaves
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of baking mix
- 1 teaspoon fresh chopped dill weed
- salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- Impossible Breakfast Cupcake Quiche:
- 12 slices of bacon cooked, drained, and crumbled, or 8 pre-cooked breakfast sausages, crumbled, or cooked loose Italian sausage around 1/2 cup drained
- 1 cup shredded provolone or sharp cheddar
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup baking mix
- 4 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 2 tablespoons diced onion, bell pepper chopped, diced asparagus, or chopped tomatoes, or 1/3 of a cup of shredded zucchini blotted dry with paper towels or 1/3 cup frozen hash brown potatoes thawed
- Note: For country gravy, we used a premixed packaged brand and followed the instructions to serve with breakfast sausage quiche muffins. Just pour it over the top of the baked cupcakes.
Instructions
- Directions for all Impossible Pies:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 10-inch deep pie plate.
- Note: all pies will take approximately 55 minutes to an hour to bake. To ensure it's done, add a butter knife to the middle if it comes out clean it's cooked.
- Bacon Cheeseburger Pie:
- Cook the meat with seasonings,(add any vegetables you may be using) salt, and pepper until the pink is all gone then drain the meat.
- Add to a 10-inch pie plate, add the meat, crumbled cooked bacon, sprinkle with cheese, and top with sliced tomatoes and more cheese if desired.
- Beat with a hand mixer or blender the milk, baking mix, and eggs and pour this over the meat mixture.
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes until the center is cooked using the knife method as directed above.
- Taco Pie:
- Cook the meat with seasoning, drain and add to the bottom of the 10-inch greased pie plate.
- Top with the beans evenly, green chilies, and cheese.
- Beat with a hand mixer or blender the milk, baking mix, and eggs and pour this over the meat mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until the knife comes out clean in the center using the knife method as stated above.
- Chicken Broccoli Pie:
- Place the cooked cubed chicken into a 10-inch pie plate.
- Add the diced thawed broccoli on top.
- Sprinkle evenly with seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Evenly spread with shredded sharp cheese.
- Beat with a hand mixer or blender the milk, baking mix, and eggs, and pour this over the chicken and broccoli mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until the knife comes out clean in the center using the knife method as stated above.
- Seafood Pie:
- Mix the crab, shrimp, or tuna in a bowl with chopped spinach, seasoning, and herbs, with cheeses, and mix together.
- Using a mixer beat the eggs, milk, and salt until smooth in a blender or by using a hand mixer for around 1 minute.
- Add the seafood mixture to the pie plate pour the batter over it and bake in the preheated oven at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.
- Breakfast Quiche Pie:
- In the bottom of a greased 10-inch pie plate(or greased cupcake tins) add cooked meat of choice, cheese, seasoning mix together.
- Using a hand mixer in a bowl, beat the eggs, baking mix, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Pour over the quiche ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. If using a cupcake tin, pour individually and check at 30 minutes if the center springs back they are done, or do the knife test as directed above.
