I was extremely pleased how easy this was with using an outside smoker and got such delicious results!

I had never used liquid smoke before and when I tried this recipe, I fooled everyone.

The pork tasted like it was roasted in a smoker for hours.

Great for sandwiches, just shredded with barbecue and garlic bread and even the leftovers were delicious.

Smoking without a smoker!

We love the taste of smoked foods.

We don't own a smoker and just the two us decided to learn how to cook meats to have a great smokey flavor without investing in another appliance.

Smokers are really too big for the amount of meat we eat.

Using a Real Smoker

We actually have a smoker and I have made smoked pork many times.

The smoker takes around 12 hours to smoke the pork to perfection.

If you do have a smoker, just seasoned the pork with a good rub, add water to the tray inside your smoker ( I use apple juice instead of water).

Set the smoker to cook for at least 8 hours and I like to use applewood chips.

Refer to your instruction manual on time, the temperature inside the pork should be around 170 in the center and cooked slowly on 200.

Tender Juicy and Pulls Apart So Easy

Pork Tenderloin is a leaner cut of meat, any boneless pork will work great.

I just love the tenderloin the best. You can use pork butt or shoulder too.

The fattier meats are more flavorful but I like to eat the leaner meats when I buy them.

Keep in mind that you can use any spices and flavors you like, this is just the flavors I prefer over some other.

I have substituted cola for apple juice or bourbon before as well. Those are just other suggestions for the liquid when oven roasting.
