Pasta Alfredo Casserole Recipe



 
A very cheesy Alfredo recipe!  Ricotta, Sour cream, Parmesan and Mozzarella!  Not for anyone on a diet that's for sure but indulge in this wonderful comfort food once in awhile won't hurt. It really is delicious! 

You can make your own alfredo sauce, recipe included below
 or use store bought sauce in a hurry.



Pasta Alfredo Casserole Recipe

1 pound of spiral macaroni cooked to package instructions drained
2 -  10 ounce jars store bought of Alfredo sauce or use recipe below
8 ounces of sour cream
1- 8 ounce container of whole milk Ricotta
2 eggs beaten
1/4 cup blended parmesan and romano cheeses
1 1/2 cups shredded whole milk mozzarella
1 teaspoon granulated garlic, parsley, oregano 
salt, pepper to taste

In a greased 13x9 pan, add half the pasta and toss with alfredo, sour cream. Stir in the eggs, parmesan romano cheese, half the mozzarella, spices and Ricotta. Stir all together. Add the rest of the mozzarella on top. Bake at 350 until browned and bubbly.

Alfredo Sauce Homemade

2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup butter 
1 cup parmesan cheese
salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, granulated garlic, Italian seasoning to taste
4 oz cream cheese

Place this all in a medium size saucepan bring to a boil. Use for this recipe or on your favorite pasta.
