Fun Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ideas Party



Whether it's Valentine's Day and red tint, Easter pastels, Halloween with an orange tint, Thanksgiving milk chocolate with a drizzle of white, Game Day, or Christmas, this is made in minutes with that colorful sugar or chocolate creative drizzle.

For gift-giving you can arrange the strawberries in a box-shaped in strawberry Christmas Tree, starting with 5 on the bottom, 4, 3, 2, and ending with 1 on the top. Perfect for Christmas gifts!

Just get creative we love doing baby gender reveal parties with pink or blue dipped strawberries in the box to open! Each person gets one!

This recipe is so versatile but the best part is how fast and easy these no-bake treats are.




Ingredients You Will Need(scroll to the recipe card for exact measurements)

  • white chocolate
  • shortening
  • green sugar
  • strawberries with stems
  • sprinkles to the party theme 
  • Optional garnishes for dipping them in: chopped toffee bits, mint chips, nuts, crushed candy bars, serve with graham crackers, crushed cookies,  crushed pretzels, mini chocolate chips, coconut, crushed candy canes





Quick Tips

  1. make sure you add the shortening while melting the chips so it doesn't clump up
  2. tint the melted chocolate with any color you prefer
  3. keep assorted colorful sugar on hand to match party themes
  4. wash and dry the strawberries but do not remove the leaves
  5. use flavored chips like peanut butter or mint for another flavor
  6. roll in nuts, plain sugar 
  7. dip in white and drizzle with dark chocolate
  8. for gift giving place, line a gift box with parchment paper on the bottom and store in a box in the refrigerator 
  9. all extra  dipped berries should be refrigerator
  10. try to make these fresh and eat them the same day if possible
  11. these stay fresh up to two days
  12. dip the whole strawberry and cut with little appetizer cutters for a fun shape

Italian Christmas White Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of white baking chips (or use white chocolate melts)
  • 1 tablespoon shortening
  • Around 18 Fresh strawberries with leaves
  • green-tinted sparkling sugar
  • Notes: you can also use dark or milk chocolate and different colorful sugars to match the holiday theme or party themes.
  • You could also tint the white chocolate green or red and drizzle over the strawberries after dipping in the white chocolate you will need an extra 1/2 cup of chips to do this with 1 teaspoon of shortening melted then add the tint.

Instructions

  1. These are super easy and make great gifts.
  2. Add the green sugar to a small bowl. then set this aside.
  3. Wash the strawberries..
  4. Dry them with paper towels leaving leaves on.
  5. Cover cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  6. Heat white baking chips and 1 tablespoon shortening in a 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until chips are melted.
  7. Note if you would like to use the microwave:
  8. Microwave uncovered on Medium (50%) 1 minute, stir. Microwave 2 to 3 minutes longer, until mixture can be stirred smooth.
  9. For each strawberry, poke fork or toothpick into stem end, and dip three-fourths of the way into melted chips, leaving the top of the strawberry and leaves uncoated.
  10. Immediately dip into the colorful green sugar just the bottom.
  11. If you would like to drizzle another color then use tinted white chocolate melted ( melt the 1/2 cup with 1 teaspoon of shortening, add the tint).
  12. Using a fork, drizzle melted tinted chocolate over dipped strawberries in a zigzag fashion.
  13. Refrigerate uncovered for about 30 minutes or until coating is set.
  14. if you would like to make a Christmas Tree with these just line a box starting with 5 strawberries across the bottom, 4, 3, 2, and 1 at the top. Build the shape of the tree.
  15. Easy to make a Christmas Gift Box. of Chocolate Covered Strawberries.
  16. Enjoy!
