Gift Gifts and More Gifts

I can go on and on about how wonderful these jar ready-made mixes are to make.

Everyone loves homemade scratch recipes and these just made their life simple.

Whether it's a college student, hurried busy mom's, and just about anyone who loves things made from the heart, these recipes are full proof satisfying to everyone that makes them.

I have found that when I even fill a jar with their favorite jelly beans, the kids go nuts for them

My other favorite is watching them light up with they find little toys mixed in the jar.

You can get really creative with these, and I have a long list of suggestions for those hard to buy for folks!

Cinnamon Pancake Mix

This just happens to be my son's all-time favorite pancake recipe, this is one that is in the guide is a vintage over a 50-year-old recipe.

As my mom would say, if it's not broke don't fix it right, I always go back to the tried and true recipes.

We love this pancake recipe and it over 100 years old!

Breakfast Granola

Here is an easy recipe to make and it's healthy and delicious on just about anything you can sprinkle it on.

The granola is full of fall flavors and ready to eat.

The recipe includes several ways to use your homemade granola to write on your index card along with this homemade breakfast treat!

Easy Kitchen Items

Dried and layered beans or dried fruits layers are all a wonderful idea to add to the jar.

I love to use figs, apricots, date, pineapple and even some nuts or sugared candy slices.

When using the beans, be sure to add a note with those on what to do with them like a 15 bean cowboy bean recipe.

If they happen to be gardeners, they can even plant them.

The easiest recipe for using dried beans is to add them to a favorite chili recipe!

They all make a great gift all year long no matter what is going on in your family or friend's life, they will a smile on their face and make a great memory.

Fresh Herbs

This is a great gift for any cook if you grow your own garden!

Dried herbs are perfect when you have a summer garden.

Save the smaller glass jars all year round fill them for gifts.

Even if you don't have fresh herbs, you can make my recipe for Italian seasoning or Taco seasoning mix you will find in the free guide below.

Non Food Idea

I like to save large odd style jars during the year and decorate them.

If you happen to love potpourri, I fill a large glass clean jar with miniature twinkle lights.

Add the potpourri to the jar, and the heat from the lights will make the scent wonderful fragrant.

Leave all the wiring inside with a little instruction note on how to use this.

Perfect for any room in the house.

Tips:

If you're looking for a hard to find gift for someone's birthday, holiday, house warming, baby shower event or when you just need a thank you gift, these are perfect for any age

.
Just use festive buckets, plastic pails, extra-wide mouth glass jars.

You can find vintage glassware at thrift stores, dollar stores or just save those old glass jars all year long.

Cover the tops of mason jars with holiday-themed material.

Then decorate them with pretty lace, ribbons, old burlap bags, or even old cut-up denim.

Decorate your old jars to be a festive delight for any occasion with beads, bells, and assorted costume jewels.
