Here is an easy delicious side dish, plain stir-fried rice.
Asian American style.
The taste is amazing and it's an easy recipe to make.






Easy and Plain Stir-Fried Rice

  1. instant rice which is also known as quick-cooking rice
  2. frozen vegetables diced(peas, carrots)
  3. egg
  4. soy sauce

If you are vegetarian or love a good stir-fried rice but hate to cook, this is the recipe for you.

Of course, you can adapt it and add whatever you like, but this is a basic plain stir-fried rice and made in minutes!

It starts off using instant-style rice and some quick additions to make a great side dish.

Basic ingredients with a big flavor!


Suggestions and Additions



  • You can add sliced mushrooms, and shredded vegetables like zucchini, onions, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, or anything else you like.
  • I have two versions one with chicken and shrimp below and the other is leftover pork roast.
  • Whatever you have leftover in meats or steak goes great with this rice.
  • When taking to potlucks I leave it plain and let them add what they want off the grill.

Plain Stir Fried Easy Rice

Plain Stir Fried Easy Rice

Easy to make fried rice using quick-cooking rice, egg, and some mixed diced vegetables. The easiest side dish ever!
Prep time: 5 MinCook time: 10 MinTotal time: 15 Min

Ingredients

  • 3 cups instant white ( quick cooking raw rice)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots mix
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Optional: 1 small diced onion and 1 clove minced garlic can be sauteed in the butter with vegetables if desired

Instructions

  1. In a large fry pan melt butter.
  2. Add garlic and egg and stir until completely cooked.
  3. Add rice and saute until rice is browned around 10 minutes flipping rice to brown on both sides.
  4. Add the vegetable mixture.
  5. Continue to cook until browned rice.
  6. Remove from heat mix the soy sauce and water add to the pan and stir.
  7. If using meat just put that in last to reheat! Serve.
