Growing Up Leftovers Never Tasted So Good!

How cool would these be to take to work lunch or school? They taste great heated in microwave too! I will warn you everyone in school or work will be jealous! These smell amazing when heated up and the aroma will go through all the hallways!

It happened to me at work when I brought them and everyone's mouth was watering. They really are a delicious little cupcake pie packed with bold flavors. What better way to turn leftover stew into a little pot pie? They will be a big hit for whoever you're making them for.

When I was growing up, mom loved to make a big pot pie with leftovers. She was a very creative mom. I loved her homemade crust. That was the best part with all the sauce oozing out the sides of the crust as it bubbled out while baking.

I love those charred edges of the pie. Sometimes she would use chicken cacciatore leftovers and that was phenomenal in taste also! Whatever you have for leftovers, these little pot pie gems will be perfect for taking along on school lunch, work or picnics. They are really a portable lunch that is totally satisfying. No matter whether she used pork, chicken or beef, these pot pies were fabulous! Here is the pork stove top recipe here.
