Cobbler and Other Named Desserts

Cobblers crumble, and crisps pretty much are a basic and easy dessert that falls under the same umbrella.

These remind me of a pie but without the double pie crust.

Cobblers usually have a buttery old-fashioned biscuit topping and sometimes more of a cake topping, crisps are topped with an oatmeal buttery crunchy streusel topping, and crumbles are topped with an oat-less crumb topping.

These desserts all have the same common concept, but cobbler almost always has the biscuit topping.

We are huge pie fans, and if you're one too these types of desserts like cobblers, crumbles, and crisps will be a favorite in your home also.
