Crockpot Berry Cobbler Recipe

Comfort desserts at it's finest when you need them, fast and easy in the crockpot and it stays warm!

Another recipe for the busy cook









Batter Ingredients:
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons canola oil

Berry mixture:

4 cups blackberries and raspberries or all of one kind fresh, canned or frozen (thawed and drained)
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
cooking oil spray


Batter:

In a large bowl, combine flour,sugar, baking powder and cinnamon.
Stir in milk, egg, and canola oil until combined batter will be thick.
Grease your slow cooker with cooking spray and smooth batter on the bottom of your cooker.
If using frozen berries drain and blot dry.

Mix the berries with sugar and flour and toss to combine in a bowl.


Dump the berries on the batter.
Set the slow cooker to high and slow cook this for around 2 hours, check it may take longer in the center continue for 10 minutes intervals until completely cooked.
Delicious served with freshly whipped cream of a berry flavored ice cream
