No Bake Amaretto Cream Pie

Here is an Amaretto no-bake cream pie topped with Amaretto fudge sauce! A great easy dessert that tastes as you fussed for hours!
Ingredients
- 2 boxes of vanilla instant pudding
- 3/4 cup whole milk (or half and half with milk or heavy cream for a thicker pie)
- 1 - 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup Amaretto Liqueur
- 1 -8 ounce tub of whipped topping or real cream whipped heavy cream sweetened
- 1 prepared graham cracker crust or use my almond crust recipe below
- Garnish toasted almonds, homemade hot fudge sauce, or ice cream topping of choice,
Instructions
- Filling Directions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth.
- Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, almond extract, and Amaretto, slowly whisk until smooth then fold in the whipped topping.
- Pour into a prepared crust.
- Refrigerate until firm around 2 hours.
- Garnish with hot fudge, whipped cream, and toasted almonds if desired.
- Almond Crust Recipe:
- 3 cups fine crumbs such as cinnamon graham cracker(is what I used), regular graham, vanilla cookies, or chocolate wafers
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
- Amaretto Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe
- 1 (14 ounces) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons Amaretto liqueur
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- Combine condensed milk, chocolate, and salt in top of a double boiler over rapidly boiling water.
- Stir and cook until chocolate melts and the mixture thickens for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in water, a little at a time, until sauce reaches desired consistency.
- Cool slightly and stir in Amaretto and vanilla.
- Drizzle over slices of pie, cakes, or ice cream.
- Refrigerate any unused for up to a week in a mason jar.
