A casserole all-in-one pan super simple meal can be on your table in just an hour.
This casserole is baked with cream of chicken soup, stuffing, and delicious pie filling bursting with fall flavors.
I have made this casserole with both fresh apples and homemade cream of chicken soup and also used a quick canned version when in a hurry, so it's up to you with both versions here in the recipe card.

Super Easy Casseroles
I really love being able to serve my dinner all in one pan it's so much easy to clean and cook.
There are so many variations you can use with meats, changing the fruit you prefer, and even what cream soups to use.
This casserole can be adapted in so many ways, use what you have it will always make the meat super tender and a tasty casserole dish.
Tips and Suggestions
- use any cream soups that can be used IE: mushroom, broccoli, cheddar, chicken, or even a can of gravy will work
- add a splash of hot sauce for a little heat or cayenne pepper to the stuffing
- always use boneless meats
- other meats we like are: boneless chicken, boneless turkey breast, or boneless steak
- when using different meat try another canned pie filling or fruit, whole cranberries with turkey or chicken and peach pie filling go great with them
- You can also add mandarin oranges to the stuffing for a nice tangy flavor with poultry
- If the casserole starts to dry out, add apple juice, white wine, or water just a splash
- use homemade Cream of Chicken soup recipe or canned soup

Ingredients For Pork Chop Apple Stuffing Casserole (see recipe card for measurements)
- bone-in or boneless pork chops (or use another meat you prefer)
- stovetop stuffing
- homemade recipe of cream of chicken soup
- apple pie filling or freshly sliced apples
- salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper
- bread crumbs
- Optional: any other boneless meats, any kind of cream soups will work, hot sauce in the stuffing for a little heat, poultry seasoning on chicken or turkey, another type of fruit such as whole cranberries, peach pie filling, or mandarin oranges in the stuffing

As I mentioned in the beginning this pork chop casserole is a throw-together all-in-one-pan easy meal and very tasty plus you can use canned pie filling or soup to make it super easy and fast and yes I have done both as in the photos.

Pork chops, apples, and stuffing are really all you need but if you have those hungry crowds to feed you may even want to add an easy dessert like my 3 Ingredient Dump Cake, for your dinner.
Just remember this can be done with Turkey Breast, Chicken Breast, or even Boneless Steaks and they all taste great!

Pork Chop Apple Stuffing Casserole
Ingredients
- 8 thick boneless pork chops
- 2 packages of stovetop stuffing or make your favorite homemade recipe
- 2 cups hot water
- homemade cream of mushroom soup (or use 1 can of cream of chicken or mushroom soup)
- 3 sliced apples tossed in 2 tablespoons of flour and 3 tablespoons brown sugar or use 1 can of apple pie filling
- 1/4 teaspoon each of salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper
- 1/2 cup Italian flavored bread crumbs
- Optional: a pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix stovetop stuffing in a bowl with the water.
- This can be added to the bottom or the top of the pork.
- I have done this both ways.
- Pour into a greased 13x9 pan lined with parchment paper or foil lightly sprayed with cooking oil.
- Place the stuffing on the bottom of the pan.
- Layer the apple mixture next (or if using the pie filling scoop out the pie filling and evenly place it on top of the stuffing) and sprinkle the apples with cinnamon if desired.
- Arrange pork chops around the stuffing apple mix. sprinkle pork with spices.
- Pour the cream chicken soup mix over the top of the pork chops and the rest evenly over everything on top.
- Last top evenly on each pork chop with the bread crumbs.
- Bake loosely covered with foil, at 350 degrees, in a hot preheated oven for around 1 hour 20 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes until browned on top.

For HOMEMADE CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP:
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
2 cups of chicken broth
1 cup of milk or half and half
1/3 teaspoon of each of celery and onion powder
1/3 teaspoon each of garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Heat the milk in the microwave for 30 seconds then set aside.
In a medium saucepan add the butter and melt it.
Whisk in the flour. and cook for around 4 minutes on low heat stirring constantly.
Pour in the broth milk and seasoning and boil until it thickens.
