Bread Crumbs Panko or Regular?
Panko is the best to use but any Italian flavored bread crumbs will do.
Just load them up with the parmesan cheese and broil them until they're lightly browned.
It only takes a few seconds!

They can be with a subtle flavor or you can make them bold with a few suggestions below and additions added.
I love to change them up with crispy bacon added or even leftover fried holiday ham.

- Brussels sprouts fresh or frozen
- butter or olive oil
- minced fresh garlic
- Parmesan cheese or more to taste
- Italian seasoned bread crumbs Panko or Regular
- granulated garlic powder
- Italian seasoning or (chopped fresh basil and fresh parsley around 1 teaspoon each)
- paprika
- salt and pepper
- Optional: cayenne pepper
Tips
- Don't overcook Brussels Sprouts when boiling
- Use Fresh or Frozen Sprouts
- You can use a combination of butter and olive oil
- Watch carefully while broiling the sprouts with bread crumbs
- Season more or less to taste

You can make this same recipe by just placing the brussels sprouts on a Silpat mat or parchment paper and use the same ingredients.
Just roast the sprouts on 400 degrees, adding the bread crumbs last to toast on top.

Tuscan Roasted Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

Tuscan Roasted Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts are all coated and dressed up with roasted garlic and Italian seasoning. These gourmet sprouts are a great side dish with any meals.
ingredients:
- Instant Pot or Boiled Parmesan Recipe
- 1- 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 tablespoon melted butter or more depending on how much bread crumbs you
- 4 cloves garlic left chunky
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons freshly ground or grated Pecorino Romano Cheese
- 1/4 cup or more Italian seasoned bread crumbs Panko Style or Regular
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or( chopped fresh basil and fresh parsley around 1 teaspoon each)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Optional pinch of cayenne pepper
- Note:

How to cook Tuscan Roasted Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts
- If using fresh brussels sprouts, clean fresh brussels sprouts and score an X into the stem then place in a saucepot covering them with water and a little salt.
- Boil around 7 minutes. Be careful not to overcook. Drain.
- For Boiled Version: Saute the chunky garlic for 1 minute add the sprouts and proceed with the same instructions below for topping.
- For instant pot:
- Saute whole garlic for 1 minute then place on pressure cook mode for 3 minutes and allow for the pressure build-up of 10 to 15 minutes, Release pressure for 5 minutes, refer to your instruction guide.
- For Oven Roasted:
- You can make this same recipe by just placing the brussels sprouts on a Silpat mat or parchment paper and use the same ingredients.
- Just roast the sprouts on 400 degrees, adding the bread crumbs last to toast on top.
- Allow 30 minutes to roast the brussels sprouts.
- Note: If using frozen prepared to package instructions, proceed below the same.
- Place the cooked method of choice for your brussels sprouts on an oil sprayed baking sheet or casserole dish, (or use parchment paper for your baking sheet).
- Drizzle with a little butter saving some for the bread crumbs.
- Combine bread crumbs, minced garlic, garlic powder, all other seasonings or fresh herbs, and remaining butter to moisten and mix well.
- Toss the cooked sprouts with the butter mixture.
- Then sprinkle evenly with Parmesan cheese and a little cayenne pepper if you like them spicy.
- You can drizzle more butter or olive oil if they look dry.
- Broil them in the oven for 20 to 30 seconds on high until the bread crumbs are crispy and browned.
- Note: Since the brussels sprouts are already cooked either by boiling, instant pot or oven-roasted the topping doesn't take long to brown. Do this step immediately after you have chosen your cooking method of choice.
