Coconut Caramel Flan

Tuesday, August 2, 2016
An easy Coconut Caramel Flan Recipe and perfect dessert treat that everyone loves.

Flan is so easy and it almost seems magical has it bakes with its own rich caramel with a soft custard.

It's so easy to throw together and actually amazes me when you flip this onto a pie plate how elegant it is and looks a lot harder than what transpires all by itself in the oven!

We love a caramel based custard and my other flans like banana flan, and blueberry flan is a must-try too if you get a chance to make them if you enjoy flan.

This is the easiest flan you'll ever make and delicious, scroll down to the recipe card to print if off.

All through my childhood I grew up with jam coconut cake and that was Dad's favorite cake.
Simple but really delicious when combined with a golden yellow or white cake, spread with jam topped with coconut.
We all loved coconut cream pie also, so I thought lets put all these flavors together! Coconut filling, golden cake, raspberry jam and shredded coconut!
Are you with me? Well here it is!

Cake Vodka Coconut Cream Martini Video Recipe

Sunday, June 3, 2012

My brother, who lives in Upstate NY told me about Cake Vodka (it really does taste like cake) on my recent trip.He recommended me to try mixing it with Amaretto to make an almond paste cookie flavor, I adapted that below, also some delightful combination of flavors. Now that I was introduced to Cake Vodka, I imagined the endless possibilities so I decided since Coconut Cream Cakeand Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie are my favorite desserts, I would come up with a new drink to love for the summer months ,or anytime of the year for me!

Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Wednesday, November 23, 2011
I love coconut and chocolate and these cookies are two of the best ingredients and make best the perfect combinations of flavor.

This cookie is a simple chocolate chip cookie with coconut two of my favorite ingredient combinations and a flavorful cookie treat.

The coconut is toasted to bring a crunchy delicious addition and easy to do in the microwave with our instructions below, but be careful to watch closely not to burn it!

Chocolate chips whether milk, semi-sweet or even another flavor white, or butterscotch chips are all a nice change also.

If you want to add nuts, this cookie is very basic and versatile just add around 1/2 cup of toasted almonds, pistachios,or whatever nuts you prefer.
