Grandma's Vanilla Strawberry Cream Cupcake Recipe


You can frost, fill and create whatever you want with Grandma's vanilla scratch cupcakes. They are delicious without anything else on top but you decide. I have filled them with chocolate pudding, vanilla pudding or even nutella and these are always a hit not matter what you decide you like. You can even fill these with jelly and frost with peanut butter oh so good!




Grandma's Vanilla Strawberry Cream Cupcake Recipe

3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
1 stick unsalted butter softened (8 tablespoons)
4 extra large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk
Topping:
whipped cream
Strawberries

Optional toppings: raspberries and cream, fill with your favorite pudding ( lemon, chocolate or vanilla then top with whipped cream) frost with any kind of frosting favorite flavors, fill with nutella, frost with marshmallow cream and sprinkle with your favorite candy bars crushed.

With an electric mixer in a medium size bowl beat the sugar and butter together until light around 4 minutes. Add the vanilla, eggs, milk to blend then add the, baking powder, salt then the flour a little at a time. 

Proceed with above instructions for cupcakes. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until centers come out clean with a toothpick. Cool completely and pick the topping of choice from the options.
