Easy to make using an ice cream maker, this eggless cookie dough ice cream is delicious and tastes like it came from an ice cream shop.

Ingredients

  • Cookie Dough
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Mix all together and put in the freezer for 1/2 hour while making the ice cream.
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 cup whole milk, well chilled
  • 3/4 cup sugar.
  • 2 cups well-chilled heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla.

Instructions

  1. Cookie Dough
  2. Mix all together and put in the freezer for 1/2 hour while making the ice cream.
  3. Ice cream:
  4. Beat together with a hand mixer or a whisk for 2 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
  5. Add 2 cups well chilled heavy cream, and then add 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla.
  6. Pour into the ice cream maker and allow to churn for 25 minutes or until a creamy consistency.
  7. Note: watch it isn't over-churning, the power may be less time, refer to your owner's instructions for the ice cream maker.
  8. Add the cookie dough in small chunks in the last 5 minutes; little pieces of delicious cookie dough.
  9. Pour into a container and freeze for 2 hours or more until set before serving.
