|One of my favorite flavors is Amaretto. The chocolate fudge along with the Amaretto flavors are just perfect together! There isn't many ice creams I don't like, this one really is one your going to make again and again if you love fudge and almond!|
Amaretto Fudge Ripple Ice Cream:
1 cup chilled whole milk
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Amaretto Liqueur
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups chilled heavy cream
1 jar of hot fudge ice cream topping warmed
Beat the milk, sugar, heavy cream and Amaretto in a large mixing bowl for two minutes using a whisk.
Chill for at least 1/2 hour in the freezer.
Pour into your ice cream make and churn to unit directions, mine was around 25 minutes.
In your ice cream container, add half the ice cream, spoon the fudge over the top, add more ice cream then fudge topping then using a knife swirl in a S formation. Freeze for several hours or until set.
Garnish with toasted slivered almonds.
