- Add a splash of beef broth for extra richness with roast beef sandwiches
- If the sauce thickens too much, thin it with a little water or broth
- Use smoked paprika or liquid smoke for a more authentic
- BBQ flavor: Let the sauce cool before storing to preserve freshness
- Refrigerate overnight if possible—the flavors become even better the next day
- For a smoother texture, blend the sauce briefly before serving
- If serving on hot sandwiches, warm the sauce before using
- Double the batch and freeze extra for later meals.
- Add this on you sandwich with provolone, loosely-cooked ground beef, and sauce on brioche.
- Storage Tips: Store the BBQ sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Freeze for up to 3 months. Stir well before serving if separation occurs. Reheat gently on the stovetop or microwave before using on warm sandwiches
