These pork chops are thick, juicy, and slathered with a delightfully spicy flavor.
These are perfect every time, and the best because they start out in a brine.
That seals in the natural juices and keeps them tender, and also for those who prefer a non-alcoholic substitute, apple juice, it's a perfect combination for pork.

Easy Steps to Making These Perfect Chops
- Juiciness & Tenderness: The gentle heat of an oven cooks the meat more evenly, which helps keep lean pork chops from drying out.
- Convenience: Baking is a "hands-off" method, allowing you to prepare side dishes while the meat cooks unattended.
- Easier Cleanup: Using a parchment-lined baking sheet or a covered dish simplifies cleanup compared to managing oil splatters on a stovetop.
- Steaming Option: Baking chops in a covered dish creates a "pocket of steam" that can make them exceptionally tender
Cooking Methods
- Air Fried: Set the Air Fried to 400 degrees. Spray the basket, baste the top with bourbon barbecue sauce, and air fry for 6 minutes. Then, flip and add the barbecue sauce on the pork chops and air fry for 6 more minutes. Pork internal temperature should be 145 degrees. Continue cooking if not done in 2-minute increments
- Pan Fried: Sauté the pork on medium heat in a cast-iron skillet, add 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Baste the chops with the sauce on top, flip after 7 to 8 minutes, and baste the other side. Cook pork to an internal temperature of 145 degrees using a meat thermometer
- Slow Cooker: add the pork with the sauce seasoning and slow cook it 4 to 6 hours on high.
- Grilled: Heat the grill to medium heat, sear on both sides for around 2 minutes, then lower the heat and finish cooking until the internal temperature is 145 degrees. Add some sauce to the chops around 2 minutes before they are completely cooked. Add the remaining sauce
