Get Creative

Even though below you will find simple additions for your classic cornbread recipe, there are plenty more ideas you can come up with using substitutions.

Just think of what will go great with the meal your preparing and don't be afraid to add what you like.

If you loved sliced olives, peppers, onions, fresh garlic, add what you like or substitute broccoli for mushroom, etc,

These are just some of the ones I made we love in our home, and sometimes I make one plain and the other filled with whatever I may have in the refrigerator.

Cheesy cornbread is perfect for chili for example but we love blueberry with lemon for breakfast!

Let me know in the comment box if you develop a new cornbread flavor we would love to try your ideas.
