Butter Dip Biscuits

Friday, October 20, 2023
Butter Dip Biscuits (aka Swim biscuits) are soft pillowy fluffy baked biscuits oozing and drenched in butter and a total game changer when it comes to making delicious biscuits.

This recipe for these buttery biscuits is made with buttermilk, simple pantry ingredients and the biscuits set in a pool of butter dipped right in the pan and baked.

The result is fantastic and amazing creating a crispy crust with a soft and fluffy inside.

During the week the recipe has just a few pantry ingredients and comes together so easily it's really not hard to do in an instant and the results are so much better than any store-bought biscuits.

The biscuits have just a hint of sweetness that compliments any meal it's served with and are perfect for a holiday meal.

These can even be made savory by adding shredded cheddar cheese on top with a little garlic powder and herbs.

This biscuit trumps any other recipes I've tried making in the past and the ease of stir and pour on butter is just amazing how it all bakes together into a fluffy yumminess.

  1. I really love the extra layer of salted butter for the richness and flavour. Something I must try for my husband.
