Blueberry Drop Cookies

Wednesday, April 14, 2021
If you love blueberry muffins and blueberries in general, you're going to be making these Blueberry Drop Cookies very often because these cookies are addicting and super yummy.

This recipe is dated back to the 1960s when mom used to go picking blueberries and then come home to make , muffins, and these cookies.

I remember going berry picking and eating them right off the bush they were the sweetest fresh taste and will always bring me fond memories of when I helped her bake these.

The hint of lemon zest and cinnamon gives these cookies a fantastic summer flavor and they are so easy, you really don't have to be a baker to make these super soft crunchy on-the-bottom cookies.

The cookies were always dusted with powdered sugar or with a dab of frosting when it was a special occasion and mom would decorate them with the holiday theme and coordinated sprinkles to match.

These became a must-make for the 4th of July with red and blue colored sugars on the white frosting, they were so pretty and festive.

You really don't have to add a thing to these they really are perfect without frosting and just plain especially with a hot cup of coffee or tea in the morning, so you can decide how you like them.

Scroll down to print off the recipe and keep a good amount of fresh blueberries in the freezer so you can enjoy these all year long far past summer you'll be happy you did.

Blueberry Crumble Bars

Thursday, June 11, 2020
These amazingly easy Blueberry Crumble Bars are so melt-in-your-mouth buttery delicious that you can't just stop at one!

These quick decadent crumble bars with a slightly sweet filling are so simple to make and can be a year-round treat anytime since they freeze so well and just keeps you coming back for another bite.

I have never made a batch that didn't all fly off the plate the same day and you can use fresh or frozen blueberries for this recipe, so when blueberries are on sale we buy large quantities and freeze them for another time.

Seriously one of my favorite bars of all time I really was excited to share the recipe with everyone because you just have to try them to believe me.

I no longer wait for the blueberry season to make these bars, I make sure I have a stash in the freezer and use them in a pinch so I can indulge all year long.

We love blueberry desserts, blueberry muffins, blueberry cookies,  blueberry flan, blueberry cheesecake bars, and blueberry lemon loaf are among our favorites.

If you really want another idea for these as a dessert, top the bars with some homemade ice cream, whipped cream with a few extra blueberries, and turn them into a cobbler-style treat!
