Chicken Parmesan Meatballs
Chicken Meatballs made into a Parmesan is the perfect alternative to beef and great for sliders, appetizers, pizza toppings and so much more!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground Chicken or Turkey
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon each salt, pepper, dried parsley, and garlic powder
- 2 cloves of finely minced garlic
- 1/2 cup Parmesan and Romano cheese blend
- Marinara sauce, homemade or store-bought
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Grated cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, or if using an air fryer, set it to 400 degrees when ready to fry them. You can also fry on the stovetop in oil if you prefer.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic, and Parmesan cheese.
- Shape into meatballs. Place on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet and bake until browned and crispy, around 45 minutes, or fry them in 1/4 inch of canola oil. Air fry at 400 degrees for around 14 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels to get off excess oil if you have fried them in oil.
- Place them in a casserole dish.
- Add Marinara sauce on top with mozzarella cheese and a generous amount of grating cheese.
- Return to the oven until the cheese melts.
- Serve with your favorite boiled pasta or in an Italian sub roll sandwich.
- Also great in stromboli or topping pizza.
