My Best Crockpot Recipes

Sunday, October 13, 2019
Here is a great roundup of slow cooker/crockpot recipes and anything from meats to desserts.

I love making slow cooker recipes, they are so easy for a busy lifestyle.

It frees up so much time for me to do other things while I work or have company coming over.

Slow cookers are perfect for not taking up space in the oven and frees up space on the stovetop for those big family holiday meals.

The other advantage is that is you got invited to dinner, this will stay warm and go perfect with anything they're serving as a side dish.

One-pot throw-it-together set it, and forget meals are always a big hit here, and for me working all crazy hours, I lost track of time.

Don't worry anymore about dinner, we got you covered here and every one of these is fantastic!

Scroll through and click the names of each recipe to send you to printable copies of each one.

The taste and texture of any lesser cut of meat is always on point to be fork-tender and the best made in a slow-cooker.

Even going to old-fashioned diners can't come close to the flavorful meats in these slow cooker meals, you're family will be loving the meals and think you cooked over a hot stove all day!

Enjoy the gallery and let me know which one you like the best!

Slow Cooker Recipe Tips

  • trim fat before slow cooking
  • use cornstarch or flour for thickeners
  • use lesser cuts of meats
  • add a towel on top before the lid to promote browning
  • although not necessary, you can brown the meat in olive oil and garlic before adding more flavor
  • use only a good grade drinking wine not one that has salt added
  • perfect for bringing to any event, picnic, or family gathering the slow cooker will free up space from a stovetop of oven, and even microwave and you never worry about reheating

Made too Much?

The last tip I have for you that I  love about slow cookers,  I love making too much food!

I usually make a full pot of chili, meats, and stews, and have lots of leftovers, but guess what?

They all freeze well, just freeze your leftovers for another meal.

Remember use your crockpot for all of these meals we tend to make much more than we can eat.

Don't leave it in the refrigerator for days, freeze your slow-cooked meals for later, they are great leftovers to repurpose for another meal.

You can make covered sandwiches with leftover roasts, nachos and burritos with leftover chili and the list go on and on getting creative.

this is how to make the best ever slow cooker recipes from cheesecake to the best mouth watering rump roast, chili and stews

  2. I didn't realize that Italian recipe's called for a crock pot as often as they do. I love using the crock pot for everything. This could be from myself being Italian. That's about as close as I get to cooking good Italian food though. http://italissima.com
