Marble Pound Cake

Thursday, September 7, 2017
Swirly marble pound cake is the best of both worlds for this cake because there are two flavors in one bite!

The pan I used is also called a swirly pan and it sure looks pretty when baked but I have always been a bundt pan lover.

Any bundt pan makes baking this cake or any cake so easy.

This is a classic pound cake and the buttery tender slice is perfect just the way it is with coffee, tea, or a cold glass of milk.

Not to mention it's so pretty dressed up with sliced fresh fruits with cream or dusted with powdered sugar.

If you love vintage style cakes, don't forget to try our Chocolate-Mayonnaise Cake or Hot Milk Cake, two blue ribbon winners!

Either way, this simple cake is great anytime and especially to serve to friends and family at dinner get-togethers.

Tender Cakes

With swirls of tender vanilla and fudgy chocolate cake, this marble looks fancy but tastes like pure old-fashioned and it's been a favorite cake for years.

It's a tender marbled butter Cake.

Easy to make with one batter by just separating a little to add some cocoa powder to become one of the most delicious two flavored pound cakes ever!

Be careful not to over-marble the batters or the flavors will get pushed all together as a mess!

Just a few swirls around the pan with a knife will do the trick.
