Homemade Mini Meatball and Sausage Skewers

Here is an easy crowd-pleaser for any party and you'll never make enough I promise! Mini meatballs and sausage skewers are always a huge hit!

Whether it's gameday, a birthday party or just a family and friends gathering, these easy-baked meatballs and sausage on a stick are fun delicious finger food.

They're easy to make with simple herbs and spices, ground pork, and ground beef, baked on lined parchment baking sheets and served alone or with warm marinara and garlic toast, these will gone in a New York minute!

Just out our serving ideas below they're all pretty simple and when in a hurry use a store-bought jarred sauce like Alfredo or marinara and keep that on the side for dipping these in!

Homemade Mini Meatball and Sausage Skewers

Mini Meatballs and Sausage Appetizers for a large party and crowd. Baked and ready to be dipped in a warm marinara or another sauce you prefer.

Ingredients

  • Meatballs Appetizer:
  • 2 pounds of ground beef
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons granulated garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh or dried Italian parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Pecorino Romano cheese
  • Mix all the above for meatball mixture in a bowl and set aside.
  • Italian Sausage Appetizers:
  • 2 pounds of ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup mixed dried Italian herbs
  • 3 tablespoons of paprika
  • 2 eggs
  • Mix all the above ingredients for sausage in a bowl and set aside.

Instructions

  1. For Meatballs:
  2. Roll by hand or use a melon ball scoop to make round balls and set them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees until crispy around 35 to 40 minutes.
  4. Add toothpicks while warm and serve on a platter.
  5. For Sausage:
  6. Shape them by hand like logs and set them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees until crispy around 35 to 40 minutes.
  8. Add toothpicks while warm and serve on a platter.
