Get this party started!

Here is the easiest way to enjoy a backyard picnic and not have to stand over a grill all day.

Get them done quickly in the oven baked, speared and ready to serve at any large gathering.

Parchment paper and a large cookie sheet rules!

Mom made the best sausage homemade. I always loved her meatballs, no matter how many recipes are written some things can never be replaced in taste, not even the exact recipes.

Love lasts forever in the kitchen no matter how you make it if it's made with love.

I have done these for showers, weddings, birthdays and graduations.

They always go over great and guess what, if you want to heat them up on the grill it's a bonus.

I love anything on a skewer, somehow it's not only fun but seems extra special!

I love making these skewers, they are so easy, fun to eat, no mess to clean up and much healthier baked than fried!

The perfect solution when it calls for rain and your grilling party is ruined.

Make these ahead of time and just reheat them!

You also can add other items like grape tomatoes, cooked potatoes, or any vegetables you like.

Homemade or Store-Bought

I always make homemade, however, if you are in a hurry, most supermarkets have pre-made meatballs and loose prepared sausage.

Whatever you use your guests and family will love this idea!

I usually make these ahead of time and freeze them on a cookie sheet.

Bag them when frozen, take them out, heat and thread through the skewers.

Simple, homemade and delicious.

Don't Forget some marinara sauce for dipping!!

These Appetizer Meatballs and Homemade Sausage Skewers are the perfect solutions to any large party!

We are so used to trying to impress folks, we forget that sometimes to enjoy the party we have to make it fun to eat along with taste good.

Every time a kid or adult eats something on a stick, it seems to be a fun way to eat!

I love making my meatballs from scratch and homemade sausage.

It's my dear mom's recipe and makes me keep her alive in the kitchen.

Times have changed with busier lives, working moms and we still have the same parties, functions, events, and gatherings with the family to attend.

These will put a smile on everyone's face!

The first time I made these was for the associates at work!

Wow did they think I was the best cook on earth?

Well, I have a secret, I bought all the premade meatballs and seasoned sausage.

I baked them on the cookie sheet.

Cooled them and viola, instant meat on a stick!

They raved about them for months!

Easy as can be. Sure if you don't like meatballs and sausage try something else. I love cooked meats like kielbasa.

Just use another kind of meat if you're not fond of these two I use and make your own non-grilling party!

Here's all you have to do!

Roll meatballs into 2-inch size balls.

Shape the sausage into a torpedo shape. Bake at 375 degrees until browned and crispy or fry them.

Spear them with toothpicks or use short skewers.

Place on a large platter and serve with a warmed marinara sauce for dipping.
