This is an easy baked chicken with beer that keeps it tender, moist and juicy. Flavorful and perfect for any weeknight dinner.

ingredients:

  • 6 to 8 or more chicken legs
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon each basil, oregano, and parsley
  • 1 teaspoon each chili powder, salt, pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated garlic
  • 12 ounces of beer
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • pinch of cayenne pepper or use red pepper flakes

instructions:

How to cook Baked Beer Chicken Legs and Thighs

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and prepare and oil spray or grease a 13 x 9 pan or iron skillet that is gridded if you want a grill mark.
  2. You can also use disposable pans if you're cooking for a picnic!
  3. Brush the top of the chicken with olive oil.
  4. Pour half the beer into the bottom of the pan.
  5. Sprinkle all the herbs and seasonings over the chicken.
  6. Cover with foil and bake until the juices run clear around 45 to 50 minutes.
  7. Broil under the broiler on high, flipping the chicken to get the skin nice and crispy on both sides.
  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

  3. @king bee wow 40 ounce ... ha ha... it's less than a cup half of 12 ounces. Also yes you would leave it in the pan. I like the skin crispy, if you don't leave the skin on you wont have to do that step :)

    1. you can buy single bottles at any gas station just get any brand I really don't have a preference Guinness is great for tenderizing but if you hate beer try white wine instead .. I do alternate occasionally
