Brownies seem to go great anytime for everyone and perfect for game day , brunch get togethers and certainly great after school with a big glass of cold milk.
I have had chocolate lovers eyes roll with joy over this rich fudgy brownie recipe.
Of course you can get fancy and even add more ingredients like nuts, coconut or even dried fruits, we just like ours plain smothered with rich gananche frosting.
These brownies also stay nice and moist and never dry.

- unsalted butter
- bittersweet chocolate
- sugar
- eggs
- flour
- pure vanilla extract
- instant espresso powder
- salt
- semi-sweet chocolate chips or bittersweet

The best part is when they come out of the oven warm.

Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownies

This is a triple chocolate brownie rich and perfect for chocolate lovers who want to overdose with this oozing scrumptious overload
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 9 ounces bittersweet chocolate
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or bittersweet
- Optional Ganache Frosting:
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line 9 x 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan add the heat to low, melt the butter and chocolate.
- When smooth add the sugar.
- Stir in everything else except the flour until well blended. Fold in the flour only until streaks are gone, then chocolate chips.
- Pour batter in the prepared pan.
- Bake until it is set in the middle around 40 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Cut into squares.
- Make ganache:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla
- Heat cream, add chocolate, and vanilla.
- Stir until chocolate melts then it will thicken as it cools.
Notes:
Tips
- always steam and drain the broccoli
- always salt the water then drain but do not rinse pasta(the sauce will stick to the pasta better)
- never over saute the garlic or burn it will ruin this dish garlic should be light golden brown in color
- refer to package instructions to cook store-bought cavatelli
- broccoli gets stronger the next day in flavor if you have leftovers we try to eat this fresh the same day
