The pie is not only delicious it is surely a showstopper for serving to guests at a dinner party and anyone that loves cherries will go crazy for a slice of this maraschino cherry dessert it's such a gourmet treat.

There are many options you can mix and match to mix in or change up with this basic cheese pie filling written in the body for those not a big fan of them.

The filling is a creamy slice of heaven with cream cheese, folded in a large amount of fluffy whipped cream to make this decadent delicious pie.

Fruit Suggestions and Mix-in Options

  • chopped canned peaches drained and blotted dry
  • chopped  dried fruits can be used
  • sliced bananas dipped in lemon juice to keep from browning
  • blueberries
  • fresh bing cherries pitted and chopped
  • top the pie with pie filling instead of adding to the filling 
  • diced strawberries
  • crushed pineapple, and coconut on top with cherries
  • use all nuts you prefer, pecans, pistachios, and macadamia, and add a fruit that goes good with nuts!

  1. cream cheese must be at room temperature
  2. make sure the cherries are blotted dry with paper towels
  3. for a faster set time for your pie, you can freeze it for 30 minutes
  4. keep the pie covered in the refrigerator so it won't pick up flavors from the fridge
  5. the pie will keep fresh for 3 days store in the refrigerator covered
  6. use heavy cream not whipping cream you need full-fat

No Bake Maraschino Cream Cheese Pie

If you're searching for a no-bake decadent pie with maraschino cherry, this cheese pie is a slice of pure heaven on a plate!

Ingredients

  • Maraschino Cream Cheese Pie Filling:
  • 2 - 8-ounce packages of cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries blotted dry with paper towels ( and more for garnishing if desired)
  • Garnish: 2 or 3 stemmed maraschino cherries for the top
  • 1 can of whipped heavy cream
  • Cookie or Graham Cracker Crust:
  • 2 1/2 cups of crushed vanilla wafers, shortbread cookies, or coconut cookies pulsed through a food processor to make fine crumbs (you can substitute 2 sleeves of regular, chocolate, or cinnamon graham crackers)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Lightly oil spray a 9-inch pie plate or use a springform pan for easier release.
  2. Mix the butter, and crushed cookies, (or graham crackers), press down into the prepared pan, and set it aside.
  3. Add the cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar in a large mixing bowl and beat together using an electric beater until creamy around 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add the heavy cream and beat for around 2 more minutes.
  5. Fold in the 1/2 cup of chopped (blotted dry) maraschino cherries.
  6. Pour into the prepared crust and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
  7. Before serving, decorate the pie with more chopped cherries, whipped cream, and anything else you prefer from the suggestions in our notes.
  8. Garnish with canned whipped cream, randomly on top, a stemmed cherry in the middle, and cut maraschino cherries around the edges of the pie.
