French Toast Breakfast Tips

  1. Bake on parchment paper for easy removal
  2. For a richer flavor, you can use 1/2 heavy cream and 1/2 milk
  3. Try using raisin bread or brioche bread for a change in flavors
  4. Thicker slices will need more time to bake (there will be a time adjustment)
  5. Use Slightly Stale Bread.  Day-old bread absorbs the custard better without becoming soggy.
  6. Don’t Skip the Soaking Time.  This ensures every bite is rich and custardy.
  7. Watch the Bake Time: Ovens vary-look for golden edges and a set center.
  8. Cut the bread into strips and make French toast sticks. They're perfect for morning on-the-go breakfast meals, plus they can be frozen and reheated in the toaster just like full slices.
