French Toast Breakfast Tips
- use butter and oil combined for frying for the best flavor
- drain them on paper towels to absorb the grease
- keep it warm to keep crispy on a serving dish in the oven until completed cooking all the French toast
- for best results add the flour and milk to a blender and pulse until smooth to get a nice combined mixture, adding the eggs last
- you can cut your bread into strips and make French Toast Sticks!
- don't worry if you made too much, freeze them cooked on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and then add them to freezer bags. Pop them in the toaster when ready to serve they last around 3 months in the freezer
- Cooking Methods:
- Air Fryer: Place in an oil spray basket and set the fryer to 350 degrees for around 8 to 10 minutes or until crispy.
- Toaster Oven/ Baked: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees, bake on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking oil or on parchment paper for 15 to 20 minutes middle flipping once
- Griddle: Heat Griddle to 325 degrees. Cook and grill the French toast for approximately 5 to 7 minutes on each side
