Chicken Mango Stir Fry

Sunday, July 24, 2022
This mango chicken is a combination of seared chicken breast, bell peppers, and fresh mango, with delicious Asian-style flavors.

Chicken with mango is a wonderful summer dish using all fresh ingredients and the alternative for winter months is using frozen to keep summer alive all year round.

Mango with chicken is an unusual pairing, but the flavor combination is perfect, and if you're not a big fan of mango by all means substitute one from our list below.

This whole one-pan meal can be on the table in less than 30 minutes and even the kids loved this sweet and savory dinner they even had second helpings!

The end result is a tropical-tasting meal we usually serve over jasmine rice, make a rice bowl, or with some quick cooking noodles.

If you haven't tried mixing meats or seafood with fruit, this is the easiest first dish to try out..

Everyone always raves about this meal and living in Florida I love trying this out on my friends and family when hosting a party, I always get rave reviews.

Another bonus in this recipe is you can use pork, beef, and any seafood from Mahi Mahi to shellfish like shrimp the sweetness of the mango compliments any of them.

Steak and Shrimp Hibachi

Sunday, July 17, 2022
This Steak and Shrimp Hibachi is our alternative cooking method when we can't get to a 5-star Japanese steakhouse that will still have that big bold Asian delicious flavors right in your own kitchen plus included is the famous dipping Yum-Yum sauce recipe!

Hibachi meaning "fire bowl" is typically found in gourmet-style Japanese restaurants that feature vegetables, meats seafood, rice and cooked right in front of you on a firey grill and their cooking artistry right in front of you with several folks around a big table.

Our easy recipe for hibachi includes easy cooking methods for the stovetop,  grilled outdoors, and air fryer in just a few steps the only thing missing is the fiery show and big flames to put out.

The meat, shrimp, and any vegetables you prefer in 3 different steps all in the same pan with some Asian flavors like soy and terrifying sauce.

Indoors never is going to be that great experience on that fiery grill at the restaurant cooked in front of you, but this will still be a super delicious homemade hibachi.

Another bonus in this recipe is you can use chicken, pork, beef, and any shellfish you prefer, and adapt the vegetables and style of rice you prefer.

If you have never tried hibachi this is a great place to start making it inexpensively at home to see if you like it.

Our recipe is super easy and served usually with any style of rice or Japanese-style noodles for a side dish with cooked vegetables we have several suggestions below for you to choose from or try our Japanese Steakhouse Clear Mushroom Soup recipe.

Slow Cooker Asian Chicken with Broccoli and Rice

Thursday, July 9, 2020
Slow Cooker Asian Chicken with Rice and Broccoli recipe is a simple way to make a wonderful super easy dinner without a lot of fuss.

With rice and broccoli tossed in soy sauce prepared ahead of time, you will have this basic chicken with an Asian-flavored sauce slow cooker with just a few basic ingredients.

It's kind of mock stir fry in flavors but healthier since it has none of the oils used for frying.

We love this healthy version with a little sweet and spicy flavored sauce.

Being very busy, this is a welcome change to standing over a hot stove and the perfect summertime meal.

Using a slow cooker or instant pot certainly eliminates time spent in the kitchen.

The best part is you can set the slow cooker on low and come home to a delicious hot meal that tastes like you've been cooking all day long.

I love Asian flavors and have made many copycat recipes along with homemade egg rolls this meal is always a welcome change in cuisines.
