parsley for garnish

cooked pasta of choice or fluffy rice

Place chicken, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, garlics, wine, rosemary, salt and pepper in a 5-quart slow cooker mix all together. Put the cover on and cook on low until the potatoes are tender, about 4 to 5 hours. Mix all sauces together pour over chicken. Serve with pasta topped parsley or with white rice. Serve the potatoes on the side.

  9. If I worked from 9 to 5 I'd probably use a slow cooker. As it is, we left ours behind when we came to DC from Denver. I admire your devotion to putting nutritious food on your table.

  13. I'll bet that is an amazing sauce. We had chicken thighs tonight, but I know they weren't as flavorful as these.

  18. I've been wondering about sweet potatoes on pasta. I don't have to wonder any more. I can just bum off your success. Thanks. :) sometimes making up a recipe from an idea (even a simple idea) turns out very badly and I just didn't want to go through that with sweet potatoes and pasta. :)
