This drink is full of freshly squeezed lemon and lime juice and makes it so bright and zingy, then with an added tomato juice, makes a thick rich but not muddy beverage.
We added some horseradish, Worcestershire sauce a splash of tabasco and this will bring the recipe for this bloody mary mix to perfection.

- lemon wedges
- the leafy stalk and ribs of celery
- your favorite pimento-stuffed olives on a wooden pick
- assorted colorful grape tomatoes
- Optional: for more heat add tabasco sauce

Of course, if you would like a virgin drink serve it with the mix adding more tomato juice.
If you love a lot of heat in your drink add hot sauce and stir it in your drink.
This is just a basic recipe and can be adapted to taste with the addition of adding some freshly cracked black pepper in it as well.

Bloody Mary Mix Recipe

This is a classic bloody mary mix to use for Virgin and Alcoholic cocktails for brunch or a relaxing beverage
Ingredients
- 3 cups tomato juice (we like a good Sacramento Brand)
- 3 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon
- 3 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lime
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon horseradish sauce
- 1 teaspoon of your favorite hot sauce (tabasco) or more to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- Place all above ingredients in a blender and pulse till well blended. Refrigerator overnight.
Instructions
- To Make a Bloody Mary:
- Garnish:
- Bottle of good grade vodka
- Lemon wedges
- Celery stalks with ribs and leaves
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Pour 1 shot glass full of vodka into the tall glass and top with bloody mary mix.
- Serve with a wedge of lemon and celery stalk, grape tomatoes on a wooden pick, or stuffed olives.
