We are big blue cheese lovers, so I like to add a few crumbles on top.
This is the easiest way to make this pizza, add what you prefer, take this basic recipe that super easy and adapt it to how you would order a shredded buffalo chicken sandwich.

Pizza Dough
If you're looking for a delicious pizza dough recipe try ours, it's easy or you can just buy a pound of your favorite Italian pizza dough at your local market.
You can use leftover chicken, IE rotisserie chicken works perfectly, or even if you have leftover chicken from another meal grilled, fried, or baked, just make sure it boneless.
With the additions of the butter, garlic, hot sauce, and blue cheese crumbles, you're in for a super delicious treat on top of this delicious pizza crust and delectable buffalo chicken everyone raves about.
Ingredients You Will Need for Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Pizza Roll
- boneless cooked chicken grilled, fried, rotisserie, or any leftovers you have
- buffalo wing sauce
- butter
- pizza dough
- shredded mozzarella and sharp cheddar cheese blended
- blue cheese crumbles
- Optional toppings: 1 or 2 tablespoons chopped celery and 1 tablespoon blue cheese crumbles
- bacon, any chopped deli ham, diced tomatoes, peppers, onion, garlic,
- cayenne pepper, cajun spice, black pepper, and parsley flakes, black olives chopped pepperoni
- jalapeno chopped peppers, a combination of shredded cheeses, or just pick your favorite (cheddar, Havarti, Colby, swiss. provolone, mozzarella) just to name a few

Easy Pizza Steps (If you're in a hurry here are some alternatives to make a quick pizza)
- Here's all you'll need:
- a pre-made pizza shell
- some premade chicken wings took off the bone or any cooked chicken you have
- chicken wing bottled sauce
- your favorite shredded cheeses
- butter
- Optional: blue cheese crumbles or just a bottle of your favorite salad dressing to drizzle on top like Ranch, or Blue Cheese then you're on your way to the best chicken wing buffalo style pizza you ever ate.
- Note: We are huge fans of Italian pizza and Chicken Wings this was a nice change, just adapt it to how you like, mild, spicy hot, and get creative!

Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe
Prep time: 10 MinCook time: 40 MinTotal time: 50 Min
This is a delicious buffalo sauce with chicken and blue cheese crumbles on top of an Italian pizza crust.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of pizza dough, divided in half for two prepared baking sheets
- 4 tablespoons of butter melted
- 1/4 cup. hot sauce (we use Frank's), plus more for drizzling (optional)
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 2 cups chopped or shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup whole milk shredded mozzarella cheese and cheddar combined
- black pepper, red pepper flakes, or cayenne pepper for more heat
- Optional:1/3 cup blue cheese crumbles
- Optional: cornmeal for the pizza pan
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Prepare two baking sheets and (roll out the dough to fit or make one large pizza or two smaller baking pans) with some cornmeal on it.
- Make as you stretch this dough to fit the pan, make an edge at the shoulder of the pan all the way around.
- In a small bowl, mix the hot sauce, garlic, melted butter, and chicken together ( add any of the pepper for additional heat to taste.
- Toss the chicken in some of the sauce and use the remaining sauce for topping the pizza in random places on top of the dough.
- Add the shredded blends of cheese ( and any other additional ingredient toppings you may like), then sprinkle the top with the blue cheese crumbles.
- Note: we like to add red pepper flakes, and sprinkle with dried oregano.
- Bake until the cheese is melted and browned nicely around 25 to 40 minutes for extra crispy.
- Drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing if preferred.
